I use this stuff called Lube-N-Walk between my treadmill's belt & deck. It has a long applicator stick that you slide under the belt (after applying the included lubrication onto the stick) & rub back & forth. Be very careful not to spill a drop of that lube on the top surface of belt, as it is very slippery and does not wipe off easily - you do not want to be slipping & falling while trying to walk on it! :)
