The intercooler is actually just sitting on the rad support. I think I put rubber under the feet. You can see in one of the pics the bar that spans the 2 verticals. The bolts through that have hooks on the end and hook to the bar of steel bolted to the top of the IC to kind of clamp it in place. It's not perfect but it works. It's simple and makes it relatively easy if I have to pull it for some reason.

This is the actual kit I used to plumb mine. Had to order a few other adapters to make it hook up to the turbo and intake manifold, but that's about it.

Okay you guys helped me with my seats now i need some help making sure i got everything. im a next to a total noob hardest thing ive done is the quest alternator swap and rejetting my motorcycle carb. i've ordered some parts already and done a couple days worth of pouring over the forum guides and everything but just want to grab some advice. please and thank you, heres my tail for the troubles. ps sorry for format and everything. edit: going for a light build 7psi or so, engine is healthy rebuilt 15k or so miles ago. already have a air filter cone installed didnt know if i needed a different one.

I have decided to start my upgrades with a new intercooler, a cold air intake and blacking out the chrome. I'm not aware of any specific products, but if they were out there, I assume it would've just been a standard (and overpriced) silicone sleeve - which you could just measure the E-Nano's diameter and match it to the I.D. of a piece of silicone tubing yourself.

They're generally not too expensive and you can pick from any color/style. You can get a non-glossy style that looks pretty clean (can't see the ridges) and has a nice "fabric-y" feel to them. I run them on one of my cars, don't remember where I got them though...

Those are meant for motor/plumbing system applications, which is likely what you're going to see in the size you'd need. They'll work fine, but you may get a bit of a rubbery smell when warmed for a while...

You could also use a wrist (sweat) band. The ones I have would fit perfectly around an E-Nano without slipping, but it's putting nylon near an electric heater. I don't think it would be an issue, but I don't know how much that would bother you.

Very easy install. Placement of BOV is behind front right wheel.

My OEM BPV was developing a small leak so I went online and purchased one of these. Doesn't really do anything special but it definitely seals up nice.

There are other ones out there but this one was the most reasonably priced options I could find.

Get something like this and install it on the pipe between the intercooler and throttle body.

I'd recommend against modifying the intercooler.

Sure, looks like a few places make intercooler kits, there isn't enough room for a supercharger so you'll have to stick to turbo(s).


Basically you're doing your turbo conversion at the same time since the plumbing in these kits are designed for turbo versions.


Then you'll really have cold, condensed air, instead of just sticking a cone in a wheel well that doesn't really do anything.


Tl;dr: Skip what you're trying to do now, go all the way later.

Yes because that means you're getting back pressure through your turbo. Here's the exact solenoid I replaced mine with. Only took about 15 minutes, havent had an issue since.

That’s the same i have! In the kit it includes this little metal adapter that’s necessary for recirculation. If you got the bov second hand then he might not have given that part to you. You have to separately buy the rubber hose to have it vent though.

Oh yeah I actually did it in the fall on my '06 DC SR5. Right before they switched to the winter blend and my mileage went down to 13 or 14 over the winter. But now that the summer blend is back, I get 17+ mpg. But I also replaced my spark plugs and got new tires, so maybe it helped?

Sounds like you have a bad bypass valve. Time for an upgrade. Just buy a blow off valve and replace it. Easy install.. Takes about 20 min, if that.

The dual port shortie is the 100% recirculating BOV. There is no ventilation into the atmosphere so you will not get the “pshhhh” sound when you close the throttle.
