Yellow is a terrible idea. It will look dingy next to the grey-ish cabinets. I would either freshen the White on the walls or do a deeper medium grey.

Remove the curtain above the sink. Find a more modern pattern or go with white blinds with wide slats. If you want a pop of color, a solid bright yellow, blue or green would look nice in curtains.

Get faux marble appliqué for the counter tops.

Switch out the cabinet knobs for something more modern.

I’ve used this peel & stick paper on thick foam core. There are some great wood patterns that you can align to make an easy 4’x4’ piece. The marble takes a little more work to align as nicely if you need it to be wider than the roll.

Hi all, I have an ikea desk that has worn out with marks like this and I was wondering if I could fix the way it looks by buying adhesive film like this and just sticking it onto the desk. The marks are a little raised. Would adhesive film be a good solution? It's probably particle board underneath. I would buy a new desk top but don't have the funds. Thanks!!

I personally like to keep my restroom light. So I’m going suggest maybe a accent wall on the wall behind your cabinet. Maybe one with a modern pattern to go with those beautiful cabinets. I linked a wall paper that might look nice.

You can put classy looking contact paper on your counters to protect them and to make them look more expensive it’s about 20$ and looks a lot nicer

Have you considered using vynil film instead of paper? Like this? (Well, that specific one looks too big, but there’s some with patterns that are compatible with miniatures.)

I’m not sure if it will work, but I’ve recebtly thought of covering a mini fridge in vynil imitating stainless steel. I’m still waiting for my vynil to arrive, so I don’t know if it will work, but in the past I’ve had success covering all sorts of small objects with car wrap vynil.

Wait, hold up. Is that this peel and stick tiling on amazon? I was just looking at getting some for my kitchen, even posting on reddit for advice on which color to choose.

This post almost makes me want to do it in my dining room instead haha. Does it look like tile in person? Some others on amazon looked to be faux tiles and not just wallpaper -- couldn't tell with this one but its pattern is so nice.
