Oh boy...hold onto your hats because I am an Amazon ADDICT.

Womens Flirty Flare Skirt BLACK
$14.99 - I just wanted a skirt long enough so that I didn't look like a little girl when I wore it...I did not succeed. I still like the skirt a lot though. Cheap, shiny material is the only negative.

BGSD Women's 'Elizabeth' Wool Blend Patch Pocket Coat - Black
$89.99 - lI needed a new coat, very plain, with no weird button on the back because they always bug me. I wanted to pay for something nice because the last coat I bought stayed with me for almost 10 years. SUCCESS! Absolutely adore it!

Choies Women Faux Fur Plain Black Waistcoat Outerwear Vest Coat
I paid $11 for this fur vest, just to see if it was something I would like. I love it! No pictures of it in, but it was a very pleasant surprise!

Milesline Women's Leatherette Slingback Peep Toe Ankle Bootie, Black
$14.99 - I've only had the opportunity to wear these once so far (fear of frost bitten toes!) but they are cute and I wanted a low heel option that wasn't a pair or black kitten heels I have.

Blizzard Bay Men's Bats Ugly Christmas Sweater, Burgundy/Black
$23.99 - I like to make fun of myself, and a bat with a Santa hat was the perfect holiday sweater for me...unfortunately it was 65 degrees this Christmas. I kept it, anyway. It's kind of boxy, but it's very cute.

12 Ami Solid Drape Harem Cami Jumpsuit Black
$28 - I would gladly pay it again. It may be ugly...but it's SO comfortable. I'm a housewife and we travel via car VERY frequently. This jumpsuit is so easy to just throw on when I'm hanging around the house, or going to be in a car for hours on end. I've even wore it out and about, after making a few adjustments to it so it sat a little nicer.

Honorable mention to this leather skirt, which I added some metal spikes to. I probably paid $13 for it a few years ago, and it's super cool looking. :)

I've bought everything from leggings, to shoes, to socks, to makeup, to small appliances on Amazon because I'm a major homebody/bargain shopper. :)

Hmmmmmm. I love it being perfectly legitimate to turn on my electric blanket, to drink copious amounts of tea and coffee, and wear the fuzziest of clothing while cuddled up with it.

On the other hand, I also love a good solid prance in my green peacoat. I'm hoping to get new black Isotoners and wraparound earwarmers to be even more match-y.

This weekend, my roommate and I are taking a glassblowing class! I think we're making either a flower or a round paperweight. Should be a fun time, and it'll certainly be novel. I'm most excited about that!

Then there's a birthday party on Sunday afternoon - a double party for my friend and her two-year-old, which will involve seeing friends I haven't seen since summer.

I love winter because I can wear sweater dresses with pants and still be cute and comfortable. I also wear tunic length shirts like the kinds you can get from Artizara-- with a belt they look very elegant and modest.

Casually, I have a long plaid button up and some viscose tunics. Not very feminine, but they're easy to wear when I don't want to put in an effort.

Pantwise, I wear mostly loose fitting jeans. It's difficult because I'm petite so they bunch up near my ankles... I should really get them tailored some day. I really want to try wearing legged pants-- they look so comfy and the patterns are so interesting. But I need some courage ( and money lol).

During the summer I'll wear maxi-dresses and skirts, but I have a little difficulty being totally comfortable. The dresses and skirts I have are a bit more bohemian/hippie, but I'm a bit more goth so it feels odd wearing a white lacey skirt. But I love by black maxi dress and black jersey skirt-- they're so versatile and all it takes is a pretty scarf and jean jacket to tie it all together.

Outerwear-wise: I just bought a long black cardigan off of Amazon and I'm in love. It actually fits my arms and has a high neck so I can easily wear any top under it. I also have a few different coats-- a black knee length trench coat which is good for rain, a green peacoat for colder weather, and a puffy marshmallow coat for the winter. What I really want is a long grey coat( kinda like this but better constructed) because the green clashes with my more colorful scarves.

I've spent so long at the whim of my mother's more... questionable fashion rules (the 90's never ended) so I'm eager to grow into my personal style.

My girlfriend and I recently moved from Texas to Seattle and I'm thinking about getting her a better winter coat for christmas. Right now she has a coat from target similar to this one (x-small) but in burgundy. It's pretty old and ready to be replaced. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me pick out a coat she might like.

She's 5'3", 24 yo, works at Loft and has many clothes from their petite section (she's 5'3" and gets size 0 or 00). A few I was considering: 1 2 3 4. Also found this one, but wasn't sure about it because of the availability in 0/00 and that she wears a lot of black and doesn't like brown. Other suggestions would be great too! Thanks in advance!

I'm gonna spam my own fashion sense, I hope you like some of what I like ;p

If you want dresses, I would recommend one size fits all dresses off Amazon. Then you don't have to worry about cups that are not filled by breasts. I really love Sakkas brand, which you can find on Amazon. I have this, for example, and the top part is stretchy so it's basically one size fits all: https://www.amazon.com/Sakkas-103141-Adara-Batik-Dress/dp/B00K1ML5JW/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827864&sr=8-33&keywords=sakkas+dress

Or any cheap $10-$15 dress from a place like Forever 21 is so poorly designed that it is effectively one size fits all.

Here are some cute colorful socks:

https://www.amazon.com/HSELL-Colorful-Rainbow-Argyle-Multicolors/dp/B01DSKGV92/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827534&sr=8-33&keywords=one+size+fits+all+dress

I know a lot of people here also love those cat thigh high socks, like these:

https://www.amazon.com/Kawaii-Cartoon-Animal-Tattoo-Stockings/dp/B0163422D4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827633&sr=8-1&keywords=cat+thigh+high

I bought this in the past and I think it's kinda androgynous

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JKF0BNC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Cape coats are technically women's fashion but they're so obscure that I think a lot of people don't know how to gender them

https://www.amazon.com/Artka-Womens-Embroidery-Turn-down-Collar/dp/B00F8A0C5U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827761&sr=8-1&keywords=cape+coats

I also really love Mordenmiss jackets (also off Amazon). They're really loose and kinda art smock-y.

I bought this pair of boots a while back and they're really, really nice!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KAI4GL6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've also bought these and I get tons of compliments on them

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OMUIWD6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also have this Forever 21 dino sweatshirt and I can't walk 5 minutes without getting a compliment on it. Unfortunately it isn't sold in stores anymore, but this might help give more ideas of femme clothing.

https://cdnd.lystit.com/photos/2013/10/28/forever-21-blackgold-quirky-dinosaur-sweatshirt-product-1-14521999-527549268.jpeg

I think anything that is a "Women's [traditionally male clothing]" is bound to look fairly androgynous. Like women's button downs, women's sweatshirts and sweatpants, women's leather jackets, etc.

I always do it. Here is one of my favorite online brand- Tortor 1bacha

Do you love Chinese style? I introduce you one series. I love it so much. You can find it via link

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WR6KRFT?ref=myi_title_dp

Embellished with Chinese classic embroidery, sweet and elegant flowers models on the front and sleeves. The rolling ocean waves have auspicious meanings of "peace at all ages" and "everlasting".

u/CelestialGeometry · 3 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I bought this coat after seeing someone post it a few weeks ago. It's the only clothing purchase from Amazon I've made, but I'm super happy with it!

Edit because I forgot about shoes. I always buy my Vionic shoes from Amazon. They're usually cheaper than the website and I have Prime.

So I live in Texas where we get maybe 2 months of actual winter weather, but my big wish for next year when I can hopefully somewhat pass is LONG COATS. I love the one cosplay long coat I have and have always thought that tailcoats were the only piece of mens fashion that was worth a damn in history. Looking forward to them so much. Don't so much have outfits but I'll post a couple cute/cool ones. My fashion sense is "peppy goth" so ymmv.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but here are some stores/options:

6pm

Nordstrom

Another from Nordstrom

Macy's

Another Macy's option

Amazon

Macy's seems to be having good sales right now, and I always search Amazon/6pm for everything. Hope that helps!

Should I buy Tahari wool coat? I have my eyes on this double breasted Tahari coat on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KPRRJOW/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I12JU2FVAK60CD&colid=1Y0RUJDMDTJP0

I like the style and especially it's 80% wool so it'll be quite warm. Does anyone know about the quality of their coats? I don't mind paying more for quality so I want to make sure it's good. If anyone knows similar coat style with high wool percentage and better quality I'm all ears.

u/MiddleEarthGardens · 2 pointsr/fringefashion

Interesting shape

I know you're in the UK, but this came to mind.

Not black but I'm totally in love with this.

The details on this are easier to see in the khaki color.

I wish I had more suggestions, but not being the UK, I don't know a lot of the resources.

Artka Women's Embroidery Turn-down Collar Woolen Cape Coat Green One Size https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F8A0C5U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8Bgqyb7FMSJNM

This one is awesome with the embroidery. Can anybody recommend something a tad cheaper? I love this look!

u/Jurph · 3 pointsr/findfashion

Okay, so: here's one by BCBGeneration in dark brown that's almost certainly the right cut, but the wrong color. I think it's a perfect match for the photo, but the bad news is, they don't sell it. You can check used couture sites or closet sites, but it's going to be a long slog. Knowing it's from BCBGeneration probably helps.

Here are some alternatives that have the quilted sleeve detail that makes your piece distinctive...

  • Kensie has a close match available on Amazon for $134
  • This one is in dark brown from an Amazon House Brand for $82
  • This piece also by BCBGeneration, says it's "army green" but the image shows black. $149.
  • EDIT: Here are a few more results from BCBGeneration in a similar vein: 1, 2, 3 ... still nothing that really matches the original though.

    Hope this helps.

I adore the fit. They're the CurveID ones, I got all measured up and fitted at a Levi's store. If you don't have one around, it might be a bit more of a gamble to buy these but worth a shot. I just know that even being fitted in the store I went through a good stack of jeans before we had narrowed it down.

The jacket is this one.

u/RoniMarie13 · 3 pointsr/knitting

This is the cape I got from Amazon. I absolutely love it!

u/erininva · 8 pointsr/findfashion

OP, since I was interested in these too but can’t shell out $2,000 for a poncho, I looked around on Amazon for similar ones. Here are a few links for items with similar vibes:
