This is something very near and dear to my heart as both I and my oldest nephew have food allergies. There are tons of fun, non-food items you can hand out to trick or treaters that they will love. My favorite to hand out has been play-do. Other good ones are those Mardi Gras necklaces, stickers, or stamp rings. Please consider at least adding a few different non-food items to your normal candy giving.

I put up a Marquee for VR in my garden a few days ago - about large enough for Creed. It's been great.

Tomorrow night I'll put some lights up and see how well it works. In theory it should work fine if you put up 2 or 3 lights around you.

I have a few of these at the office. You can set various events, such as motion detection recording, and have it just record to your computer. That website has reviews on other hardware too if you want to find something in particular. The key is to ensure you get the right type of lens for the property portion to be monitored, i.e. Zoom, wide angle, etc.

Look how adorable and pretty it is, and what the fuck is she going to do about it? I would personally do this with the camera because it'd be hilarious to get a recording of her tampering with the sign. If you install the sign on a nice post instead of just a stake and she messes with it than she's vandalizing your property. Double the fun when you file a report.

I'm working on having some images printed on some. Like this.

I have a little light-up Halloween decoration that I like a lot. It is very similar to this.

It is battery-powered and I would like it to be something that I can just plug in. I thought that converting something from batteries to plug power would be cheap and easy, but I guess I was very wrong.

On the back side, you basically have a string of lights that is spaced out for each hole. If I really want this to run off of plug power, is my best bet going to be re-stringing the lights with a new set that can plug in? Or might it be easier/cheaper to find a plug adapter or to do some amateur rewiring?

As others have said, I tossed mine. Don't want somebody knowing what you have and potentially knowing how to disable it ahead of time. I just went on Amazon and bought some generic yard signs/stickers and some aluminum stake posts for the yard signs. Gets the point across nicely.

I think this would work perfectly or even this to accurately give someone a warning without raising their nervousness

Had a buddy who had some extra plastic/acrylic laying around so he cut it to size. The boxes should be able to lay on the racks that come with the unit too. Just won't be able to fit as many boxes in there unfortunately.

Before that, I was going to use corrugated plastic signage. I was going to use two of them to make sure the weight wouldn't be too much, but once my buddy got me the acrylic, I shelved that idea ;)

hot glued together from an old lawn sign, similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Sheets-Corrugated-Plastic-Blanks-Short-Flute/dp/B004U6UESS, mounting tabs reinforced with 1/8" ABS, and screwed in with 3/4" drywall screws.

Not sure if the amazon sheets are as heavy duty as the lawn sign I used - the plastic is pretty thick and probably UV resistant.
