Not always true. 1. There's certain natural products that pharma companies can't patent, and thus don't research. 2. It's often cheaper to extract an active ingredient than to synthesize it. 3. Sometimes pharma companies can't make a natural product better by modification. Take Yohimbe bark for erectile dysfunction. Sure you can get a script for Viagra, but a lot of people would probably rather spend 11$ than go to the Dr, get a script etc. No one can patent yohimbe bark, but people are trying to make derivatives that they can patent. Are those derivatives better? Maybe, maybe not. But if you can get an effective treatment for 11$ and save a Drs visit I'd take that option anyday.
This is one reason why I would recommend Primaforce over Nutricost. Yohimbine is one of the few supplements where a small dose difference could mean the difference between feeling nothing and tripping balls. I haven't tried them together though, and it'd sure help out cost wise if you could do 2 Nutricosts+1 Primaforce vs 5 Primaforce ($0.251 vs $0.505).
Yohimbe works (for me) but like ephedrine, you can overdo intake which isn't fun. Anxiety, palpitations, sweating, nausea. If you try it, be sure to stick to the dosage listed and don't do what I always do and say "Oooh well if this works this well, I wonder how doubling up will do" because it was not fun. This is the extract so it's already plenty potent.

I think it's pretty potent. I use 24mg a dose. I definitely feel it with caffeine in a fasted state. Build your way up that dose though.

Are you in the U.S.? Ephedra is only available behind the pharmacy counter now as "bronkaid" (I think there are some other brands too but this is the one I see all the time). It has guafenassin in it which is an expectorant (makes mucus come free sorta) cuz this stuff is supposed to be for bronchitis. It doesn't really have any negative effects but you should have clearer sinuses haha. Caffeine you can grab at the pharmacy too, just grab whatever is cheapest, it's all the same (if it's more convenient/cheaper to order online obviously do that).
