Congrats on getting hired!!! I'd recommend a mix of PD/teaching books and content. When you get bored of one switch to the other. Both are equally important (unless you feel stronger in one area than the other).
For PD, I'd recommend: Teach Like a Pirate, Blended, The Wild Card, and the classic Essential 55. Another one on grading is Fair Isn't Always Equal - this one really changed how I thought about grading in my classes.
As far as content, you have a couple ways to go - review an overview of history like Lies My Teacher Told Me, the classic People's History, or Teaching What Really Happened, or you can go with a really good book on a specific event or time period to make that unit really pop in the classroom. The Ron Chernow books on Hamilton, Washington, or Grant would be great (but long). I loved Undaunted Courage about Lewis & Clark and turned that into a really great lesson.
Have a great summer and best of luck next year!!
Getting 100 on the written is going to help you with the oral exam. But, there's a big difference between the written and the oral, in that on the oral you actually need to understand EVERYTHING. The oral exam question booklet is a must, and it should be totally ripped to shreds, almost falling apart when you walk into the exam. I knew that material cold.
I would also suggest this book : I was skeptical at first because it feels like self-published crap, but it is excellent, and really takes subjects that you might not know cold, and helps you understand them to be able to explain them. Highly recommend. I read it from time to time to stay fresh.
Good luck have fun. At FRG my DPE was Marina, and I aced it.
I actually wrote a couple publishing handbooks for Amazon and Smashwords... if you are new, you should check them out! It's free on the Amazon. They are basic and will get you publishing right away! When you are publishing, try to go with the biggest vendors such as Amazon, Smashwords, and Direct2Digital. If you can get your book/story in all of them, you'll be much better off!
Smashwords and Direct2Digital are both distributors. They distribute your book to many other vendors, which saves you time. Doing just a bit of research will save you a rediculous amount of time! Try checking out other guides on Amazon and join in Kindle Unlimited right away. You will find a wealth of knowledge from already successful authors!

I'm excited for you! Self publishing is an amazing career.
This is what I used to get an idea of the Bio section.
The Kindle version is only $10, but if that's too much, you can also start a free trial of Kindle Unlimited and read it free that way.
As others have said, it really isn't something you study for. Reading a practice test version is mostly useful in that it helps you to get an idea of the types of questions that might be asked. "Studying" for this section is more like making sure you know your resume really well and can quickly/easily explain your answers. The text boxes under the multiple choice questions barely have more space than a tweet, so it's mostly impossible to answer in actual sentences.
Here's an (NDA-compliant) example of the format of the questions:
>How many ice cream flavors have you eaten in the past 6 months? Detail the ice cream flavors that you've eaten and who you ate them with.
>
>A - 0
>
>B - 1
>
>C - 2
>
>D - 3
>
>E - 4 or more X
>
>Chocolate - Bill
>
>Strawberry - Susan
>
>Vanilla - Marie
>
>Chunky Monkey - Kathy
It really is as simple as knowing a lot about yourself and being able to come up with examples on the fly.
I did the School of PE class and didn't think it was all that useful for the afternoon construction depth. The morning was great however. I've heard EET's depth courses were very good though. Other than the official NCEES practice exam, I've found there really isn't much out there. I bought this practice exam book off Amazon (sorry for link, on mobile) https://www.amazon.com/Construction-Depth-Practice-Assessment-Guide/dp/1511937726/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=construction+pe+exam&qid=1563407005&s=gateway&sr=8-5
I thought it has some good practice problems that included code lookup. Problems are a bit longer and more steps involved, but gave a good overview of the concepts. Construction was interesting because it usually wasn't just a straight lookup answer. You're mostly looking for the right equation to use to solve the problem. If you haven't already, try searching on engineerboards.com. It's kinda like reddit for engineers. You can also post there or try searching for answers. There's a lot of good advice and tips there. Hope that helps!
I can only speak to the math CSET's.
They seem really hard, but the trick is to answer the constructed response as best you can, never leave them at all blank, bs if you have to.
To teach middle you only need 211 and 212. 213 is high school only, and u need diff. & integral calc.
the cset study books all help to a degree. This one is maybe slightly better : https://www.amazon.com/CSET-Mathematics-Online-Teacher-Certification/dp/073861209X/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=cset+math&qid=1557434253&s=gateway&sr=8-3
or just use csetmathguru website to find books you like.
Best advice:
take the test as soon as possible, immediately write down all the Q's you remember, esp. constructed response (it might be on the next test). You'll feel like you didn't pass, but likely get a better score than expected (if you followed my advice about constructed response Q's.). Then in 45 days take it again, and score slightly higher. By third try you'll pass.
I say it pretty often here, but I think that one of the best books out there just happens to be a study guide. The Society of Wine Educators CSW Book gives a great overview of various wine-related topics.

The French grammar book series that I like best is Grammaire progressive du français, whith Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and "Improvement" editions.
Assuming you're taking the DALF, you will probably want to become familiar with the structure of the exam, as the tasks are quite specific to the exam. There are lots of textbooks out there that will give you practice tasks specifically for the DALF C1 and offer tips. I'm using this one. Make sure you get practice for the specific types of questions that are on the exam. For example, in the writing section you will need to synthesise several documents into a fairly long written summary. Maybe you do this often, but I think, for the most part, this isn't something that a language learner will often practice. So you will need to do lots and lots of specific practice for it. The oral exam tends to have a specific structure that they like you to follow: that will be covered in the book as well.
I skeptically bought this book. It is pretty great, not an outline, but close enough to barbri. Highly recommend. my checkride is next week
I'm a civil engineer, and have worked in the wastewater industry for many years. I suggest taking the operator certification exam to broaden your background.
Most engineers don't have an operations background, but understanding operations is critical to designing well. Operators are the end-users of the design. Therefore, if you don't understand how a plant operates, it's very difficult to design a user-friendly treatment plant. It'll help your career if you pursue your operator certification. Having an operations background will make you a better engineer.
To prepare for the operator certification exam, I used the textbook, Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants, and these Practice Exams .
By the way, it's possible to land a job in the wastewater treatment industry with a chemical engineering degree. I know a few people with a chemical engineering background in this industry. Don't give up.
Good luck.
Carol Ann Tomlinson is the Lord and Savior of differentiation. Her books are pretty easy to find and have lots of strategies and examples that can be used.

I’m interested in this book. Maybe? Who else?
The Wild Card: 7 Steps to an Educator's Creative Breakthrough
Wild Card Book
This is all you need!! and I'm not even kidding. Written by David Stump ASC, who's a very Technical Dop.
EDIT: To Clarify, for Digital.
Also, Geoff Boyle has made a Cinematography Basics e-book for Kindle that's relateively cheap, and easy to acess here, that has a treasure trove of information.
This is the best book for general knowledge in towing that I've seen.
To learn the fundamentals, take Sacramento State's course. Once you've completed the course, use Practice Exams for Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification to test your knowledge and make sure you're ready for the exam.
\> how do i think like a nurse to get these damn questions right?
First of all, that question has nothing to do with being a nurse and is 100% bogus, so don't get down on yourself.
Secondly, when I started studying for my NCLEX, I got a prioritization and delegation book (it's been a while, but something like this or this) and it helped me learn the "logic" (if it can be called that) behind the questions. Most of my professors would pull from NCLEX question banks, so usually I'd be able to apply the stuff from the books to the questions.
I purchased this study guide and this practice test and they helped me pass. I bought the practice test for science and math too. I wasn’t from TX so I watched YouTube videos about the history of Texas and The Alamo which actually helped the most!
Every centipede please read "Raising a Jihadi Generation." A cop lent it to me and it talks about the Muslim Brotherhood spreading its tentacles in America with the mission of overtaking it.

I don't deny your data. However, there is at least this much variation between the classes of individual instructors teaching the same language course.
Earl Stevick's book, Memory, Meaning, and Method touches on this.
There is a wide range of instructor experience and student motivation for the different languages taught by the FSI. The quality of the course material varies greatly. I suggest that these factors far outweigh any intrinsic language difficulty difference.
It won't let me post a picture of them but this is one of them Practice Exams: Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification https://www.amazon.com/dp/1542311454/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_y15SDbGJ1D4P9
You'll be given a formula sheet at the test center, so you won't have to memorize any formulas.
Most state exams are based on the textbooks, Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Volumes 1 and 2.
I also used these Practice Exams to prepare for the test.
Im studying for the D2 test and I’ve been using flash cards to help
https://quizlet.com/213710234/water-distribution-finale-study-guide-flash-cards/ Whatever I got wrong from here I would write them down on flash cards.
Also bought this practice exam book off amazon and made more flash cards based off the answers I got wrong.
