Unfortunately I can't access my student UCSB umail account, I graduated back in 2014 and wrote it back in 2012. It wwas part of my modern japanese history class taught by Prof. Kate McDonald. The essay was based on assigned soucres from this book if it helps, it'll give you a much clearer picture than I could. You'd be looking at specifically chapter 7 I believe. the book is worth the purchase to be honest it's a pretty in depth review of Japanese culture in our generation. For instance discussion ranges from Pokemn, to Yugioh, Miyazaki Films, Power Rangers, Sailor Moon, etc. https://www.amazon.com/Millennial-Monsters-Japanese-Global-Imagination/dp/0520245652
If any of you are University students our have access to a campus library I strongly suggest you give it a read or just grab it from Amazon. It's a fairly common source for undergraduates in East Asian Cutlture and History courses.

i don't care for PJ Thum, and wish Kirsten Han would fuck right off to Malaysia forever. If I were a Singaporean politician or member of the SAF I would never trust Thum or Han. As an ordinary Singaporean I do not believe Thum and Han to be fighting for the interests of Singapore or Singaporeans.

However, this kind of 'Malayan' sentiment is not new. LKY accepted that our separation is not cast in stone. ["They have got all the resources. If they would just educate the Chinese and Indians, use them and treat them as their citizens, they can equal us and even do better than us and we would be happy to rejoin them," Lee said.]

Former foreign minister George Yeo considers himself a Malayan.

That's not to say George and Harry are traitorous scum like Thum or Han, but that for all these people, especially Thum and Han, their past conduct, and the context surrounding their statements and beliefs provide important perspective.

History of Cannabis is in stock on Amazon.cn (104.30 with free shipping), but Rise of the Warrior Cop will take a few weeks to arrive (plus it's a bit more expensive).

If you can be bothered to wait for overseas delivery, Book Depository has free shipping.
