According to my ferrari guide are 5 different rear-end variations for the F40 of the '80s and '90s:
Some ferraris of this era only had 1 of those 5 variations (for example the red F40 with yellow "F40" tampos and gold 3-spokes could only be found with rear-end variation #2). Others could be found with any one of 3 of those 5 (for example the red F40 with yellow "F40" tampos and silver Ultra Hots could be found with rear-end variation 1, 2, or 3). /u/scottymcss's pic shows a yellow 25th Anniversary Exotic Car 5-Pack F40 with blue "F40" tampos that has variation #1, and interestingly enough my guide doesn't specify which of those 5 variations were available on that car (the only one I personally own also has no license plate).
