These might require you to give them a paint job. The good thing is they come in pairs so if you mess up on one you still have the original :) This is a deal worth taking for the price and the amount of dragons in this set, I'll use them as either pseudo dragons or the offsprings of a larger one.

I'm seeing if I buy one of those gargantuan-sized (5 in. x 5 in. x 6 in.) figures from Michael's that cost about $15.99 each, although those seem expensive and the guys at D&D would much prefer to imagine these smaller ones as large so the would-be dragon money goes to snacks.

The dragons in the bag stand on an 1 in. x 1 in. square, that's how much space they take, maybe a little bit more. If you seat them on a base made of foamboard or insulation foam and carved to look like stone or grass it makes them occupy the space of a large figurine and it works nicely.

If you need huge (3 in. x 3 in.) dragons these might not be for you. When the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Collector's edition was released for the 3DS I bought it, the game came with a collectable figure of the game's flagship monster: Gore Magala. And although he was an easy one to beat in-game, the G Magala armor was superb looking and I'll be using the figurine as a stand in for the final boss of the adventure I'm running currently, an Amethyst dragon called "Amathysia".

The cool thing is the figure has a purple shade and Amethyst dragons use Psionics so that matches well. Overall I'm really happy with my bag of dragons, it is an amazing gift that will give for many battles to come. Good luck with your dragon hunting :) 👍
