Hi all!
I thought I'd share this shot of my Explorer I (Ref# 214270) whilst at the top of the Banff Gondola! (I highly, highly recommend Banff btw - it's simply breathtaking and I don't want to leave! :-) ).
It was such an easy choice as to which watch to bring with my on my trip.

I absolutely adore it on this color strap - it just gives it much more of a rugged look.

To u/Emsflyer84. I just want to point out that I hate you. I'm going to let that sink in for a moment. I've never met you but I hate you. Why you may ask? Because after seeing your excellent choice in quick release canvas straps for your Hamilton Khaki Field I had to buy the exact same 20mm army green canvas strap for my own Hamilton Khaki King. I hope you're proud of yourself. :-P
Never had that happen with any of my Garmin's, but know others that have had a reaction to silicone. I wash my bands with soap and water every few days. Not sure if that has anything to do with why I've never had an issue.
I put a nylon NATO strap on my Vivoactive 3 that is super comfortable. Also have a canvas strap. It's a bit more ridged, so slightly less comfortable. Links are below for reference.

There are none available, unfortunately. You may find some tactical-looking alternatives, like the Barton Army Green Canvas or the NATO Army Green Canvas, but that's the best I've seen. These are regular watch straps, although they are the quick-release kind. You must choose them not by watch diameter size, but rather by wristband width. I own the GWA that has a 20mm width. Check yours first.

However, you can make due with some creativity. You can buy a paracord band for the apple watch and adapt it to your 42mm in a breeze. Basically, choose any model like this one and cut the metal pin that attaches to the watch with pliers. Then buy quick-release rods like these ones (remember to match your wristband width) and pass them through the ends of the paracord band. Lastly, use a small screwdriver to push the rod in and secure it to your watch.
