There are a lot of good suggestions in this thread. But I thought I'd share for the sake of completeness, I recently traveled to Rome with a Three Legged Things tripod (I used their Corey model). I would trust that tripod with any DSLR or Mirrorless camera. I personally was using a G7X II, but it easily handles my larger mirrorless gear. I loved it because it shrinks down small to fit inside my bag but it gets tall enough that I was able to do a fair amount of night photography all over Italy :).
