Bonus tip: say you use it for therapeutic / health reasons.
I think 3m makes some polarizing screens, but they make the screen look black only when you're not looking head on. So people would still be able to see your screen, if they are like directly on your shoulder or something.
edit: this is what i was thinking of - filter I'm not actually sure now if it is polarizing...
