You may be slightly screwed, but it's still better than $100 from Yamaha.

The Yamaha takes a power supply with a center pin - STYLE C like this on the power plug, unlike the standard COAXIAL PLUG (STYLE B). And it is CENTER POSITIVE.

I'm thinking of getting 8 of these and a charger. You could also get 16 of these and keep 8 in the charger. The THR is picky about battery power levels and supposedly craps out ungracefully when the voltage gets too low.
