I bought this a few weeks ago.

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-V3-572PG-50X5-15-6-Inch-Touchscreen-Platinum/dp/B00K2O4S6Q

I bought it for $650, but with taxes and things it was a total of $700. Its a touchscreen (a nice one) and it is very light. It can run any game i throw at it (war thunder, skyrim) at max settings. It also comes with a terabyte of memory so it is very well worth the money.

A Lenovo Y40 may suit your needs here. It comes with:

  • Core i7-4510U 2.0 GHz (3.1 Turbo-clock)
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 1TB HDD
  • Radeon R9 M275 (outperforms the 740M seen here

OR here is something with similar performance that was found in the Dell for a bit cheaper here. This has:

  • Core i5-4210U 1.7 GHz (not as strong as the Core i7, however this will not effect the gaming too much.)
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 1TB HDD
  • GeForce 740M

If you are more willing to get a better performing laptop, get the Lenovo. If you want to save more, get the Acer. Hope I helped.

edit; by the way these may not play fully max but medium whereabouts. youd need to spend more for higher settings.

Down af.
What am I missing here? http://www.amazon.com/Acer-V3-572PG-50X5-15-6-Inch-Touchscreen-Platinum/dp/B00K2O4S6Q/ref=psdc1_t1_B00K81O3PY_B00K2O4S6Q
that one has the same specs and a touch screen right and is cheaper? is it a better buy or nah?

If you aren't going to be carrying it around everywhere, the best performance is going to come from the Acer Aspire V3-772G with its i5-4210M and Nvidia GTX 850M.

However, if you want something more portable and with really good battery life, go for the Lenovo Y40. It'll take a few weeks to get to you, but it'd be worth the wait. Or you can spend more and get This one with an SSD right away.

If you need to keep the budget low, and really only plan on playing LoL, you could easily get away with the Acer Aspire V3-572G with a GT 840M and a 1080p display. You could save some money if you didn't care about the 1080p display and go for this one as well, which has a 768p display, but is otherwise identical.

Just suggested one a few minutes back .

Best laptop for $650 but $50 over budget with gt 840m. It's extremely good. You can run any game on it with ultra settings. One downside is that it's with 1366 x 768 resolution. But you can't notice it on a 15 inch laptop. I have the same resolution on mine.

But if you want to keep the budget. Go with this one

I recommended this to my sister for LoL at $600. I don't dare ask her how it performs on other games, but I've not received any complaints yet.
