Magnesium will help, but to get things moving today so you don't have discomfort, I'd recommend getting some Miralax (or cheaper store brand) and doing 1 cap full every 2 hours til you're shitting liquid.

That's how we used to clean out my son when he was 2 for colonoscopies. And it is what I do when I'm constipated due to thyroid issues.

Miralax is safe to use every day (one dose a day, not the cap every 2 hours every day... that's a bit extreme) as all it does is add liquid to your poop. You should definitely up the liquid intake when using Miralax, and just in general.
