this is all very confusing, but if someone could tell me what that means for this plug i just bought, that'd be great. I also bought an anker usb c to c and usb a to c. Not sure which one I should ultimately use though...

Oops, didn't see you wanted more than 3 ports. Here's another Quick Charge capable one with 4. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N2HIR9R/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_8kO3DbT5AA86H

I see you picked one from Anker.
If you don't mind the price hike, I can also recommend this one from Anker with Power Delivery (rather than Qualcomm QC 3.0):
I have two of these.
The advantage is that the PD USB-C port allows you to power USB-C hubs such as these https://www.amazon.com/ATZEBE-Compatible-MacBook-Adapter-Ethernet/dp/B07H6996RW/ , which can in their turn fast charge the V20 while being attached to peripherals. QC does not work for this scenario.
Downside is that the required USB-C to USB-C cable is more expensive and less common to find. A USB 2.0 cable is sufficient, btw.
hey /u/psychojunglecat3 , /u/vv0rm , and /u/kananjarrus
i got a response from anker...
First of all, let me thank you for your great support to Anker products. To your requirement, we would recommend below wall charger model for you, and you could use the blue QC port to recharge our PowerCore II 10000, and you will still have other 3 Power IQ port to charge your other devices:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01N2HIR9R/ref=sr_1_11?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1495091165&sr=1-11&keywords=Anker+wall+charger
If two output ports are enough for your needs, you may also consider below model:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=sr_1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1495091165&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=Anker+wall+charger&psc=1
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further concerns. Thank you!*
Buy this one, which supports wireless fast charging, and is super convenient -- you'll never want to plug in a micro USB after this. You can also use the charger for it with a regular USB cable if needed and it will do fast charge with that too.
For my car I use this, which is also fast charge and is super-tiny, and it lets you charge a friend's phone too.
EDIT: Bonus items -- I travel a lot and for that I love using one similar to this little charger, which I always keep ready in my bag and can charge my whole family's devices with almost no space - even the AC prongs fold in.
And once you get really hooked on fast charging, you'll want a power bank (portable charger) that supports that too. I use this one which is pretty nice, but there are tons now in all shapes and sizes.
Just get an Anker charger off Amazon and never worry again.
Anker Quick Charge 3.0 43.5W 4-Port USB Wall Charger, PowerPort Speed 4 for Galaxy S7/S6/edge/edge+, Note 4/5, LG G4/G5, HTC One M8/M9/A9, Nexus 6, with PowerIQ for iPhone X / 8 / 7 , iPad, and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N2HIR9R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HYm5AbAE675V6
Most reliable brand of chargers I've ever used, quick charge works great for my brothers s7 and it charges IPhones and any other phones quicker than their regular chargers because it uses some smart iq chip to the determine the best voltage it can provide a phone without any damage.
Ankler makes a variety that can handle multiple Pi's.
