As having built almost exactly this machine, for this exact use. I would go with a larger SSD, you'll be surprised at how fast it can fill up.
I would actually add an additional SSD just for AE and system Cache.

This will accomplish 2 things, it will move the pagefile off of your OS drive ensuring more stability and longevity of the drive (remember your OS is going to want to make a page file that is equal to, and up to double what you have as physical ram, think 64GB). It will also give you a super fast drive for your AE cache.
I used this case, and it is amazingly quiet. I can barely hear it when it's on.

You may want to think about this monitor...

It's an IPS monitor so it should produce better color.
What are you doing for data storage?
Corsair 550D is very sleek with all the panels on and has great noise dampening.
Antec P280 is similar.
Both are minimalistic and look great. Silverstone and Lian Li also make some excellent looking cases.
Those are just the main specs, of course I'm going to buy a case, a power supply and all that pc goodyness. I don't really know how I feel about 12, it just seems so odd, but idk 8 should be fine. I'm not 100% sure what case I'm getting, but here's a few that I really like: case#1 [case#2] (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004O0PAKW/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics) [case#3] (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Antec-P280-Performance-Expansions-Standard/dp/B005X3E5BO/ref=sr_1_96?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1381600299&sr=1-96&keywords=mid+tower+case) These are just the ones I could find, maybe there are some other really good looking ones out there.
I just finished my build with this case. Antec p280
I would highly recommend this case. Has room for a 5 bay hot swap tray and many drives inside. PLus it has tons of cable management and it allows you to make everything nice and clean looking.
It's the rubber oval grommets that come in newer higher end cases like this: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=computer+rubber+grommet&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbm=isch&tbnid=0upbRYq2fAR-HM:&imgrefurl=http://www.amazon.com/Antec-P280-Black-Tower-Computer/dp/B005X3E5BO&docid=JTXSe8dL3m3vaM&imgurl=http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/electronics/detail-page/c26-P280-3-l.jpg&w=800&h=534&ei=4_IbULDDMa-e6QH_goGIDg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=216&vpy=183&dur=2362&hovh=183&hovw=275&tx=166&ty=81&sig=107964264209094030517&page=1&tbnh=126&tbnw=171&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:0,i:100&biw=991&bih=702
Does the Antec P280 have room for an EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 Gold rated PSU?
