Hey OP, if you dont find any good options and can go a bit above budget, this is on sale for $110 on Amazon. Has everything you're looking for.

I was also looking at this one but the reviews were kind of off-putting. A lot of complaints about bluetooth which is important for my setup. What do you think of the price?

Hopefully mini-ITX isn't an issue?

The ASRock - B450 GAMING-ITX/AC mITX is on Amazon.DE for €114.99: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07FVVNDFX/?tag=pcp05-21

MSI also has the B450I Gaming Plus AC for one Euro more: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07FNMLCTC/?tag=pcp05-21

Edit: If you do go the route of a separate WiFi card, this mATX B450 is the cheapest I could find on Amazon. https://www.amazon.de/ASRock-m-ATX-D-Sub-HDMI-Retail/dp/B07FVYKFXF

I have this MB (ASRock 90-MXB870-A0UAYZ) https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07FVVNDFX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_CmCtSG3HjoXc5
I will try to hear the beeps by plugging my headset.
And yes my GPU is absolutely correctly connected. As for my cpu I didn't check cause I don't have thermal paste with me. I have placed my cpu on the motherboard 3 days ago, can I still remove it without having to put thermal paste again?
How can I clear the CMOS?

If you are building Ryzen PC's this one is more "affordable." https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASRock-B450-Gaming-M-ITX-Retail/dp/B07FVVNDFX/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=ryzen+b450+itx+motherboard&qid=1565007981&s=gateway&sr=8-1

I say that in quotes because it is £117 but I got it for my Ryzen mini ITX computer. I think more ITX mobos are more then £150+. So yeah prices varry. That board fits 1st and 2nd gen cpus but needs a BIOS update for third gen cpus. If you want an APU for your Plex server then this might be a good idea. Good luck!!

The challenge with this is actually putting the parts together. It's possible - people on youtube have done this: but it requires extra work in getting the parts into place securely.

  • RAM and CPU - get these as standard. A ryzen 5 3600 is a good value CPU that will give you the performance you desire. RAM, well get anything within your budget really.

  • You'll want to go with as small a mini-ITX as you can go. This will generally mean fewer MOBO features, but this should be relatively easy to obtain, depending on which CPU you desire. If you choose to go Ryzen 3 (which I recommend) then this mobo is a decent bet. EDIT : I haven't done th measurements to check if this specific mobo will fit in an OG xbox case, but it seems a good bet. check the dimensions of the inner metal case of the xbox, and the mobo itself before you spend.

  • Pico PSU e.g. with the appropriate wattage power brick (high wattage powerbricks (500W) are hard to come by)). These are pretty illusive, especillay ones at higher wattages (like this 500W pico psu from ali express, if you trust them.). WHen I was looking for these last year I could only reliablyu find them from China, so gave up and went with an SFF PSU from corsair. It's a small PSU, but much larger than a Pico board and made me scrap the XBOX idea altogether.

  • small form factor graphics card (there was a SFF 1080 and 1080ti on the market, I have the 1080 it's good, you may need to modify the cooling on it to make it fit though). You may be able to get one cheaply on the used market. But there is an SFF RTX 2060 which is a very nice size (MSI version, although gigabyte offers one too), and will meet your 1080p needs nicely without breaking the bank too much (but they still cost more than standard cards, so don't expect it to be cheap).

  • M.2 SSD - not much to say here, easy to get hold of. Just make sure you find a motherboard with a slot for it (the one I have suggested has such a slot on the back). these are tiny, sleek and fast. big space and power savings with these. I use a samsung 950 myself.

  • you'll need a PCI-E Riser cable and a way to mount the graphics card above the motherboard. Good quality PCI-e Risers don't come cheap. These guys were rated quite highly on the SFF boards, but amazon offers similar products too.

Then you have considerations of cutting out an I/O hole on the back of the xbox case for the motherboard ports, and getting a power button up and running (the power button is easy enough tbh). Hope this has given you some pointers.
