Not sure about the specs on your Alienware, but as someone else mentioned ASUS has a series of 17" gaming laptops, and I use to have one that worked great for me.

On the cheaper side you can get the older model that still works great, with the 960M

More expensive side you can jump up to the version with the 980M, this is the version I had.

Or you can get the new line of ASUS ROG's with the 1060, 1070, or 1080, but they are even pricier.

A couple friends of mine have the cheaper version I linked and a version in between these two choices(it has a 970M). With the laptop I had, I never had a single problem with it, and it ran everything I ever tried to play at Max detail(GTA V, The Division, Black Desert Online, Siege, Dota, XIV, and more), and with the extremely nice screen it had it could play a psuedo-4K that was pretty awesome too.

Really enjoyed everything this laptop gave me, but, its extremely heavy, and closer to being labeled a mobile desktop than a laptop. I recently sold it to a friend of mine and purchased Dells new line of Ultrabooks(Dell XPS 15 w/ GTX1050). I downgraded so that I could have something more mobile, but my new laptop also plays everything I want perfectly fine(XIV, Dota, PUBG, Siege).

But at the same time theres 100's of options for you. I'm just letting it be known that I had a wonderful experience with my ASUS ROG Laptop.

Probably the best you can find for price:performance. This would be considered a fine budget compromise for a gaming laptop by today's standards.

Do keep in mind that if you bought a desktop for the same price, it would drastically outperform it.
