GTX 780 but it runs hot. i recommend running liquid cooling.this one comes with liquid cooling ready.

Yes, the 290 is definitely a very capable card, but so is the 780. Comparing a premium waterblock-equipped card is a little disingenuous don't you think?

The CryoVenom 290 is currently $600 (and has been since soon after launch when VisionTek bumped up the price from $550 to help cover their own costs).

That same price will buy you an Asus ROG Poseidon 780, with its integrated water block (plus of course the DCII air cooling built on board as well).

But the same thing applies to that Poseidon card as that CryoVenom 290 - they're just not relevant unless you're watercooling anyway, which is a huge jump in cost given the additional requirements. The Poseidon at least has the advantage of being able to run without a loop.
