Not that this would help you with the docking station for this specific model, but I've recently purchased a universal USB docking station and I absolutely LOVE it. It's compatible with any laptop (and I've even used it with my Mac mini so I didn't have to purchase a mini displayport display adapter) via USB 2.0 and 3.0 (obviously USB 3.0 gives better performance). As someone who has several different makes/models of computers, one of these really "future proofs" you as far as docking stations go. This is the model I have and use it with my T420s:

I'd just like to add the keyboard seems to be a little shaky. If I am typing fast enough it seems to miss a keystroke. Kind of sucks but I will be using a docking station most of the time so it won't be that big of a deal. Still sucks that in 2014 keyboards can still be an issue.

I only messed up one time writing that and it was a letter that we left out.
