It was a long time ago, but when our son was still stroller age we had a City Mini. They are light and maneuverable. We didn't store a lot of things in it, so it was easy to collapse and get on a bus, train, or taxi. It was comfortable for our son and had a higher handlebar to make it easier for me (over 6') to push.
There are a lot of places to buy them used online or on any parent forum, but we bought ours new and it lasted us for several years.
