60 inches is a lot of wire to work with all at once.

I would use this, it's worked well for me in the past. :)

Set the wires in the holes, anchor them on something that won't move and go! I have made four foot lengths of twisted wire with this. But nothing that has beads or anything in it.

Here I made a vid for you. :) The wires I used were 18 gauge, if you use anything smaller make sure that they are anchored really well. Twist the tail back onto the main shaft to make sure it doesn't let go. And keep in mind that using this will work harden the wire, it will be much more stiff afterwards. Though, twisting by hand should do that as well.

Haha, I just watched someone else's vid for the same thing, and whooboy, just no. He says to twist until the wire breaks because then you know it can't be twisted any more... Yeah...

Doing it by hand just takes lots of practice. You have the right idea, just keep untangling them as you go. Like I said, 5 feet of sire is a lot to work with all at once.
