I have the 32in version of the Benq you mentioned. It's fantastic.
I use the 28” [this version of this BenQ monitor](BenQ EW3270U 32” 4K HDR Monitor, 10 Bit, Brightness Intelligence Plus, Eye Care, USB Type-C, HDMI https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B078HWBGH5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.SxvDb3G69Z87) for my PS4Pro and MacBook. It’s not top end, but priced well for the specs and quite good. The PS shows it’s ticking all boxes in term of HDR, which is all I need since I don’t concern myself with all talk about “fake” and “real”
newsHDRI will need both. Below is the current splitter and switch I have. I need the splitter to split the signal so one console will go to my PC(Elgato Capture Card) and BenQ monitor and switch to change from Xbox to PS4 etc...I've put my monitor, switch, and splitter below. Nothing works on 4K thought.

Price History
32" at first felt way too big, I was used to 24" as well with my old BenQ monitor, 32" was actually also a bit too big for my desk, which I ended up pushing my desk forward and have 2 inches of the stand off the desk (doesn't affect the stability of the stand). As long as your arm length away from the monitor you're fine. My bad you're right I mixed up the PD3200U with mine the EW3270U. For support of 4k, you have to find out which version of HDMI you have, try finding it on your laptops manufacturing website.
Edit: Try reading this link.
Ended up pulling the trigger for this guy about 1.5 months ago... No Ragerts!

This BenQ seems like a good option for the Xbox one X, 4k, Freesync, Fake HDR, with good contrast and colors. :)
The BenQ is currently on sale at $449

Apparently the larger and more expensive 32" model of the BenQ is VA/AMVA because it has a 3000:1 contrast ratio.

MSI 32" 1080p
AOC 32" 1080p
Both of those are low latency VA panels.
32" is an odd resolution as not many wide screen PC monitors go that high & those that do are mostly 1440p which PS4 Pro does not support.
One of the few 4K monitors in your budget range is this BenQ 32".
