I have this and can give it a very good review. I know its not as big as the one you have listed, but I'm not sure I would want to go any bigger than 27". Depends on your desk setup I suppose.

If you're looking for performance I'd recommend BenQ ZOWIE eSports gaming monitor for $279 on Amazon. It has BenQ's lag free technology and it looks awesome as well. Ever since my MLG Halo Days I've been hooked on BenQ monitors.
If you're dead set on wanting a 144hz monitor they have same model BenQ for $100 more.

I have a Benq "1ms" monitor and also a 55 inch HDTV (not sure on response rate), but I'll say I play way better on the Benq. I'm sure you can play at a high level with the slight lag, but I really dislike it, especially doing anti-airs. This is the newer version of the Benq I have. It's rated "Excellent" by displaylag.com.

Any opinions on 1080p@144hz? This BenQ is in my price range. I don't have experience with 144hz monitors nor 1440p monitors, so it's hard to make a judgement. Smoothness versus resolution I guess.
