I have had a cast on my arm for six weeks and still have a brace I have to wear 90% of the time. Here are my tips.

Any kind of case with a grip on the back. Popsockets are readily available, but definitely not the best. I have a case with a rotating ring on the back and it's amazing. Granted, I have a smaller phone, but since the ring rotates, I can hold my phone in either hand relatively well.

Sit down when you're playing. It sounds annoying, but it's a life saver. Not having to hold your phone is going to help a ton.

Be careful with playing a lot (i.e. raid days, CDs, marathons, whatever). I didn't break my wrist, but had a ligament tear and I would always regret playing the next day. Do your best to use your non injured hand, even if you feel fine during.

Get friends. Seriously, my friends have been awesome in helping me since I've been injured. I offer to drive on big event days and they just take me phone for me.

Not sure what your cast (or whatever) is like, but I found it easy to hold my phone with my uninjured hand and tap with the knuckles of my injured hand. Less pain and easy to keep control of the phone.

Good luck!
