Is this the same model? The tread picture is too dark to see anything, but they appear to have lugs (knobs on the tread), which I believe is going to compromise a shoe's slip resistance. I'm also unable to find 'src' anywhere on the page.

Now compare that lugged Birkenstock sole and its sipe pattern (sipes are the little lines on car tires that wick water away from the tire's contact patch) to https://www.amazon.com/Crocs-Womens-Bistro-Resistant-Nursing/dp/B00E1LFPGI/. This is an SRC shoe...note the complex sipe pattern and complete lack of lugs.

The Birkenstocks are no doubt more of a hybrid tread, while I believe the lugless Crocs put all of their skill points into no-slip. From what I've gathered so far, you don't want lugs if slippery surfaces are THE concern.

I'm still gathering info on this, if any of this is inaccurate please let me know!
