Much easier to sketch charts / diagrams.
Not sure what country you're in, but I personally really like Bluelines. My favorite thing about them is that they provide tabs and all sorts of ways to organize it. None of the pens I use bleed through, but I haven't tried anything fancy like fountain pens.
It's Blueline notebook I picked up at staples for about $7. It's 7 1/4"x9 1/4", which makes it a bit of an odd duck in the paper industry. It seems like a pretty useful size to me.
