No not as of now for the past week or two. I haven't had a lot of time lately since I got it to see but so far that hasnt been an issue for me.
I did buy and use an aftermarket optical cable because I tried leaving in the one that came with my a50s but had some issues with it and tried the steel series one but it felt just as flimsy as the a50 so I bought a BlueRigger cable.

It has good reviews and feels a lot better build quality wise.
it was only $6 for 3 or 6ft so I'd try that maybe if you have that money to spare
