Well, I've got pretty long hair now so I use a around 4 different types of brush/combs for different purposes.
Your hair is still pretty short, so you can get away with just one brush. I read you're limited on resources so any ball tip brush will work to get to your scalp.
My personal favorite is this style. It really gets to the scalp and spreads the oil well. Its more of a hassle to clean but it just feels real good to brush with.
