They're SoundTrue Headphones. Looks like the cord has been replaced.

Got a Best Buy gift card for my birthday, its about $100, so I decided to get a new pair of headphones with it. So the big restriction is that I must be able to buy them at Best Buy. They can be gaming or not, idc as long as they dont look awful or have a big honking mic.

-Budget: $120>, but I can be flexible

-Source: PC and iPhone. While on PC, they MUST be wireless, but on my iPhone a wire is fine.

-Requirements for Isolation: I prefer closed headphones, but they dont have to be noise canceling. Also, I only prefer closed headphones, I am willing to fuck with open.

-Will you be using these Headphones in Public?: Yes, but really just while on public transportation, planes, trains, automobiles.

-Preferred Type of Headphone: Over-ear, definitely no on ear or in ear.

-Preferred tonal balance: Definitely more balanced, but anything as fine as long as the bass isnt muddy.

-Past Headphones: Sony Things, Bose Soundtrue, Razer Krakens, Razer Orcas. Idk probably others, cant remember.

-Preferred Music: Typically classic rock/metal.

-What would you like to improve on from your setup: I have had leather pad headphones for a while, which get really hot. I would like to try mesh or different types of padding.

BOSE makes some great stuff.
these are mine, and they work flawlessly! deep, rich sound. lightweight. not too terribly expensive.

id stay away from beats or skullcandy. i've owned them both and had nothing but problems with them. mediocre at best sound quality for how much they cost.

There is a huge difference when it comes to premium headphones. That said, 16k might be a bit too much, especially if you're asking if it's worth it. You could get really good Bose headphones for nearly half which aren't as good but still levels above regular headphones worth 4k and below.

I got this for 9.3k in Jan 2016 and I'm still using it today, though I have replaced the cord twice since then.

Budget: >200

Source: Laptop and iPhone

Isolation: Some but will be using them mostly at home so would like to avoid sound leaking

Public: Rarely, looks are not a factor

Type: Around Ear

Tone: Balanced/Bass, but very flexible

Previous: https://www.amazon.com/Bose-SoundTrue-Headphones-Around-Ear-Style/dp/B00IUICOR6 Loved the
comfort of these and how light they were. I need headphones that are comfy and will not hurt after using them for long periods. Would still be using them now but the left ear broke after 4 years.

Music: Mostly all types. But will be watching movies and shows on my laptop. Also for video games.

Improve: Preferably something with more bass, but comfort is priority.

I just spent the last few months asking the same question and finally ended up buying Bose Sound True Headphones. The problem I had was that either everything is studio quality or Beats. I couldn't really find anything that was just for casual listening that still looked fashionable and that I didn't mind wearing outside. These were the perfect fit for me so please feel free to check them out!
