It's personally my favorite series, but I'm not sure $250-300 is worth it, especially if you don't know if you'd like it. The set also doesn't come with the sides stories Mirai Fukuin and Mirai Fukuin - Extra Chorus.

The side stories are sold separately on RightStuf ($70) and amazon.co.jp ($90). It looks like the amazon version has the OST and another disc, though I'm not sure what it is--google translate says it's a drama CD, I guess?

I still highly recommend the series, but because it's so expensive, I'd recommend trying to watch it first before you decide to buy.
