I sort of decided to go big or go home after seeing how lesser labelers didn't survive long at work... Brady BMP21-PLUS. Best feature is that it does flag or wrap-around labels for cables and it's built like a tank.
I had it on alert from camelcamelcamel and picked it up this summer when it hit below $75. It's not cheap but the one we have at work is years old and still chugging. Can't say that for the "which one is cheapest" Brother and Dymo ones they buy now (though this would probably be better if they didn't literally buy the cheapest ones available from Staples).
