The car adapter is also a great buy, I like using those as well; definitely better than wasting the battery pack on the road.
A good solution is to recreate THIS . It doesn't charge the battery, but it gives you a lot more battery when your regular ones are done.
If you don't want the hassle of recreating it, I found this solution. A bit expensive but if you have no power source at all this may be a solution: Here

Will never exist. Usb doesn't provide enough voltage to invert it to that high of ac voltage..Get a usb charger for your camera if you want to charge it through usb. If you want to charge it through ac then there are some portable batteries with ac outlets at varying price points.

Have you considered a [battery pack](http://www.amazon.com/ChargeTech-Portable-Universal-MacBooks-Motorola/dp/B00MVDRPR0 "amazon_link")? Then you could easily move the lighthouse around. Just a thought. You could even use a cheap car battery and inverter.
