I had a similar wish for Sennheiser cables as I own 2 cans with their usual replaceable cable ends. In my case I got 2 of those ends off eBay and constructed a very short cable that ended 2-3" away from my chin.
After that you can buy one of those generic iphone control cable extensions with mic.
Because they are then being plugged in to a short cable they sit in the correct place and arn't too long. Also you can store the cans without a huge cable coming off them.
In the case of yours I think you would have to solder a short cable to the drivers as they don't have removable cables but its the same effect.
TLDR: Recable with very short cable -> Plug into this
But I needed my original headphones and new mic to have one combined 3.5mm jack (to use with my phone). Pusene found what I was looking for here.
