Can't wait to get my own, I'm stealing my girlfriend's dad's at the moment. Best cutter I've used, perfect cut every time and it's like cutting warm butter.
I've used xikar cutters and they're fine, I just don't care for the style.

I had some issues with a cheap DE guillotine and bought a Cuban Cutter
It cuts true every time. No guessing unless I'm working with a small ring gauge (<32).

Obviously if you don't like the back, then it isn't for you. But I really enjoy it.
Godspeed you if you are set on a Xikar, lots of guys ( me included) use this and never look back, they cut very well, have a warranty and take the guesswork out of how deep to cut the cigar.
