Get this bad boy, seriously. It's under $25 and in a blind sound test you will not be able to tell it apart from a Boss CS-3.
When I got mine I was so impressed I ordered 3 more to give as gifts to my musician friends. Easily the cheapest way to make your drum machines just BANG!
Kokko compressor is great as an introduction to compressors. I like it a lot! Its like $23 on amazon. You can also power it by 9v or 18v (kudos to another user on here for finding this out) and it sounds killer at higher voltage (albeit with a lot of added noise lol)
