The starter pack comes with 3 AER RGB fans and a lighting controller (Hue 2). Since NZXT uses proprietary RGB headers, you will need Hue 2, a free usb header on your motherboard and the not so great NZXT CAM software for the RGB to work. Some have had success rewiring the 5v 3 pin addressable RGB on Asus motherboards, but honestly I don't know if it will work for you.
I'm a poor man, so I buy 12v 4 pin RGB fan packs, note that these are not addressable, so you can only have one color for each fan at any time. Addressable 5v 3 pin ones, aka rainbow puke are slightly more expensive. The great thing about these ones is that you can connect them straight to the motherboard without any lighting controller BS. You might need to buy a few RGB splitters (4 pin) or (3 pin addressable), though those are really cheap.
Lighting controllers are great if you want a lot of different colors for multiple LED strips and fans with all sorts of crazy effects. Otherwise the motherboard ones are usually enough.
Check this video. You should be able to connect the fans to a splitter which you then connect to the motherboard ARGB header. In your case with nine fans you'd likely have get four splitters: three splitters with three fans each, then those three splitters connected to the fourth splitter which you then connect to the single ARGB header on the mobo.
Some fans have a proprietary RGB connector but those appear to use the standard ARGB connector. If they do have a proprietary connector they should come with a hub that you plug them all into and the hub will then have a wire with a standard ARGB connector coming out.
Hey there, I think I figured it out.
I'm not sure if i can link youtube videos, but I was watching this one where the guy shows the controller that comes with the AIO and a smaller one that comes with the 3 fan kit (which I'm able to aquire).
So, I got two questions:
I hope I was able to express myself clearly. If it works I would prefer to use the second option/configuration.
I also looked into the Tecware Arc Spectrum F1 fans but I can't seem to buy them in Europe...
Please supply a picture of your fan cables. You will likely need a splitter like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Addressable-Splitter-Cable/dp/B07HQBCX9L/ref=pd_sbs_147_t_0/142-6488486-5873362?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07HQBCX9L&pd_rd_r=9b5a0ee0-f123-49eb-ab34-a15eefa1669b&pd_rd_w=kPgpu&pd_rd_wg=JzWq7&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=QTFVWG7KFH1WZH7RZKR3&psc=1&refRID=QTFVWG7KFH1WZH7RZKR3
Do you buy the 3 packs? If yes, the splitter needed is included in the box.
If not, something like this will do:

I just built a build with these fans and I can recommend them, and you can split the ARGB connector on your motherboard. Your motherboard won't be able to individually address each fan when it is split though (IE you can't make one group of three fans blue and the other red).
The ARGB splitter I used is here:
https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Addressable-Splitter-Cable/dp/B07HQBCX9L/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=argb+splitter&qid=1571742598&sr=8-2
They were recently on sale for $10, but since it is just a cable solution I'm sure one of the cheaper ARGB splitters on Amazon will work fine.
Yea I guess that would actually work. Did you use the Cooler Master?
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

Last thing; the CM splitters. There's 2 options shown. Both are 3-1 splitters but one says addressable. Which one should I be buying?
