My main rig has a 3.3ghz i5 in it and my beast PC uses a 3.5ghz i7

Processing and memory tend to mostly affect simulations. The graphics card handles most of the processing done during modeling and rendering. Getting the best graphics card you can afford is generally the best solution

Of course you still need case, power supply, hard drive, dvd drive, etc. But all the above rings in at £767. So you might consider going to a Quadro 4000 series

Looks good, some of the prices seem high. I got that same ssd about two weeks ago for $65 (it was a good sale) but it seems to drop to around $70 or so fairly often. The ram is a bit expensive also, could go with a cheaper option and save at least $10 here.

Would also get this hdd instead, I'm a big fan of WD and I have that same drive.

Is the ASUS P8H61-M LE mobo compatible with this RAM? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0085IWXB8/ref=psdc_172500_t2_B006EWUO22

I searched for every Amazon price and linked it.

This may sound like a dumb question, but I have these in my own computer.

With the i7-4770k and GTX770 etc that I have, I can downgrade myself to 8gb and I was planning on using the two remaining sticks to save my cousin(aunt) a bit of money... Is that ok or are they all programmed to work together, or something... It does sound stupid now I read that back, but i'm just worrying because she's a single mum and I don't want to throw extra costs at her

Why the 4x4 memory? Two sticks of 8GB Corsair Vengeance will run you $125. Or you can get Gskill Ripjaws for $110.

I have a basic premade computer, the Asus M11AD (here are the specs). I want to upgrade the RAM and the graphics card, and I figure if I start looking now then I know what I can try to grab on BF/CM sales.

I found these and was wondering if they would be a good fit for the RAM? I'm definitely struggling with what would be a good graphics card upgrade or if that would even be possible. I do use my computer for gaming, mostly WoW, but I'm hoping that I would be able to run some more steam games (Skyrim, Fallout, GTAV, etc) without the enormous lag. Thanks for any advice!
