If you really want one of these for your AM4 cpu you can buy a bracket for $15. Come on Corsair! They should be drop shipping these for a nominal fee. They're $5 on their website but shipping kills it.

You'll just need one of these.

You can also get it from Amazon which might be faster, but costs a helluva lot more.

If you live somewhere outside the US, just google the part number "CW-8960046" and look for a retailer in your area.

the bracket is here: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CW-8960046-Retention-Bracket-Coolers/dp/B06Y6J86V1/ref=lp_2529199011_1_10?srs=2529199011&ie=UTF8&qid=1506798269&sr=8-10

the specific motherboard isn't the problem, it's that the h100i v2 doesn't support am4 motherboards out of the box

cooler is fine, motherboard looks fine.

AM4 bracket

It was the same price on Corsairs website, but I ordered from Amazon so that I didn't have to enter my billing and shipping info.

That's because AM4 is a relatively new platform, coolers that were manufactured 6 months ago might not include the adapter.

You would need that if the adapter isn't included, for the corsair you mentioned at least.

Looks like its a standard asetek cooler so yeah you could get an AM4 asetek bracket and it should mount fine and work well.

Hmm I see some for $30 here.

Quite expensive TBH.

Last time I looked it was $12 directly from Corsair.

That's actually the AM3 bracket which some (all?) AM4 boards shipped with. It's what I used to mount my H115i on my board, I think they're actually looking for the circular screw-in bracket that Corsair used to sell. This one I believe.

Corsair's official website says that the H100i is compatible out of the box with AM4, however you need to order an AMD Retention Bracket from Corsair if it's a H100i v2/H100i GTX. You might have to search around for a Retention Bracket if need be, the model number is CW-8960046 and I found a link on Amazon, which looks pricey and thin-stocked, even though it links from Corsair's website (where the part is, as always, out of stock). Still, if you have a regular H100i or H100i Pro or Black or Gamer or Vladmir Lenin or whatever, it should work okay. Plus, it doesn't hurt to cast a cautious hand to try it on, at least? Also, your build is amazing, I envy the new 3600s (have a 2600 chugging away at 4 Ghz on the stock cooler, temps aren't happy to say the least) and that 5700 XT... gorgeous card, I kind of want to sit and watch the whole AMD-Nvidia battle unfold with these amazing cards. Hope this helps.
