I posted another build yesterday with a i9-9900k and gtx 2080ti but my company wouldnt let me expense it so I went with this out of my own pocket :'(

Hope this looks good as im a novice when it comes to building.

I also ordered

Thermaltake Versa H17 Case

CORSAIR VS Series, VS450, 450 Wattpowersupply EDIT: Canceled order, got one for free

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB Ram

I'm going to scavenge a ssd from another computer

Altogether this build will cost $591.61

Ditch the Intel and get a ryzen 3600

Its like double the performance for 20-30 bucks.

Swap MB for whatever x470 one you want

And if you're Already at it, fuck 3000mhz.

3600 is like 15 bucks more

Took me a while to do this, but I have a good build for both gaming, workstation, and streaming. It is near the top of the budget, but this build uses the latest and greatest technologies from both Nvidia GeForce and AMD Ryzen. This should run AAA titles at 1440p 60-80FPS and 1080p 80-120FPS, and streaming eSport titles at 1080p144FPS should be very easy. I also included precise and affective cooling in the build for better temperatures in overclocking. This build also features a black-dark grey design that looks incredible in sync. This is an elite build in the sub-$2000 range. Because of stock issues, you will need to buy from Newegg and Amazon.

CPU: https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-7-3700x/p/N82E16819113567?Item=N82E16819113567

The 3700X has great single-core gaming performance while providing extra, fast cores that excels at workstations and virtualization tasks. The 3700X is represents the best value in higher-end consumer CPUs.

GPU: -https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TMK8HMC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

Because you are looking for RAW 1080p performance, I decided not to go with the best and most bad-ass GPU in the market. The 2070 Super should, as mentioned before, handle 1080p gaming in almost all aspects. I wouldn't personally recommend anything higher than the RTX 2080 for 1080p gaming as cards more powerful than this is more efficient at 1440p/4K gaming. However, the 2070 Super should ace 1440p 60FPS gaming and even moderate 4K gaming.

RAM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RM39V5F/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

DDR4-3600 is the "sweet spot" for RAM speeds on the Zen 2 platform, as suggested by many tech enthusiasts and AMD. With AMD support on higher OCs and native frequencies, faster memory solutions can provide a boost to gaming and workstation. The Corsair LPX is a great series, and can help save costs with their great value.

SSD: https://www.newegg.com/intel-660p-series-2tb/p/N82E16820167461?Item=N82E16820167461

The 660p represents great value in the SSD market, offering better performance than WD, Samsung, and Crucial mid-range SSDs, and at a lower price. 2TB of storage should be enough to store a substantial amount of files and games, not to mention faster speeds than traditional mechanical drives.

MOBO: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813144261?Item=N82E16813144261

The MPG Gaming Edge is a great motherboard from MSI, and features a black design with good cooling solutions. This is a mid-range X570 motherboard. This model supports OC, which is important for an expensive motherboard and has good slots for expansion.

PSU: https://www.newegg.com/evga-supernova-850-g1-120-gp-0850-x1-850w/p/N82E16817438133?Item=N82E16817438133

EVGA SuperNOVA is one of the top PSU series on the market. It has a 80+ Gold rating with full modularity. And 850W is more than enough for future upgrades. Also comes with a 10-year warranty.

CASE: https://www.newegg.com/black-fractal-design-meshify-c-dark-tg-atx-mid-tower/p/N82E16811352072?Item=N82E16811352072

It is the one you've asked for...

FANS: https://www.newegg.com/corsair-co-9050039-ww-case-fan/p/N82E16835181106?Item=N82E16835181106

Replace the OEM case fans with these. They provide better airflow, which really helps with temperatures and thermals. They also have better build quality, with PWM.

CPU COOLER: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BWNWQKJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

The H100i should provide cool temperatures for a decent overclock on the system. The H100i is one of the most trusted coolers, and it should get the job done. Suggestion: Mount these on the top fan slots.

why are you buying 2 single sticks of ram?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RM39V5F/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

cheaper and better.

also make sure your motherboard supports the 3000 series. not all b450 models have gotten the bios update (and going by the price i dont think this has either) this means you'll have to update the bios yourself.

you other option is to get a b450 tomahawk MAX, its only $30 more and comes with the updates already so you can use it out of the box

Corsair Vengeance LPX

Corsair RGB pro

I personally recommend those two options, but how many RAM slots does your motherboard have? If it has more than 2 slots you could technically still use your old one too

u/DarkVypr · 1 pointr/AMDHelp

Amd CPUS and GPU love high performance ram. If you went with 2x8GB of Corsair vengeance at 3200 MHz that would be your best bet. There is also a 3600 MHz version https://www.amazon.ca/Corsair-Vengeance-PC4-28800-Desktop-Memory/dp/B07RM39V5F/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=corsair+vengeance+3600&qid=1574078922&sr=8-3
