First, I make oat flour by pulverizing oats in a dry blender. Then, I place some oat flour in a muslin drawstring bag and let it soak in a bathtub filled with warm water. After a couple of minutes, the bath water becomes infused with oat-y, soothing, moisturizing goodness that's perfect for soaking in. More info: How to Make an Oatmeal Bath - WikiHow.
I think adding glycerin to a bath could help as well.
Muslin bags are very cheap and you can find them in a lot of different sizes on Amazon.

I'm referring to making a quick and simple wrap around the hand using [cloth bags such as these] (https://www.amazon.com/Cotton-Muslin-5x7-Inches-Count/dp/B004ZEAH1E/)
they are big enough to quickly go over the hand, you then use the tape to secure the bag around each wrist and then cinch the bags. - it can be done pretty quickly and is quite secure; It's a little more effort but this tiny addition completly foils any ability to use the fingers to pry at ropes or claw at 'anything'; plus the bags are a lot more comfortable than handcuffs
