Mine are super dark, and it looks like I have some kind of disease on my foot but I'm almost always wearing my Crocs during the day, so you can't really see them. I live in Wisconsin and I seriously put these things on in March after the snow melts (maybe before, I have been known to shovel snow in them) and don't take them off until December. They are three season shoes for me because I have naturally hot feet and hate wearing socks. If there is a better "shoe" out there, I don't know what it is. Also I buy these and take the stupid heel strap off, so I don't have the heel strap that you can't remove and have to flip up.
