This thing is a beast, I love it. The only downsides are the slightly smaller bowl and it’s heavy as hell but built like a tank. There’s a reason this design has been around forever.

Mine are so old I have no idea if the models are even relevant! My food processor is a plastic model. I think it looks like this one:Cuisinart DLC-10SY Pro Classic 7-Cup Food Processor, White
And this is my blender. vitamix 5200
The blender was an unasked for wedding gift that I had no idea how much I’d rely on. I use it a few times per week at the very least, and it still works perfectly.
There are so many new models out for both- I would check reviews to make sure what you end up finding is still well-made.
Looks like "a" DLC-10 is still available, anyone know if it's the same quality? Link
Cuisinart. I love mine. It does everything I need it to do and is super durable. I used a cut rate Oster for a while, but the Cuisinart is so much better, it is worth the extra money. Also, the Oster broke after a year.
Mine is similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-DLC-10SY-Classic-7-Cup-Processor/dp/B01AXM4SB6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1491917366&sr=8-2&keywords=cuisinart+food+processor
