The item I want for my goal is a Daruma Doll not popular really here in the west except maybe as a novelty, but I take it seriously. My goal has been to save up enough money to go on a foreign exchange trip before I graduate. Right now I had a setback, so I'm not really where I want to be financially, but my language skills have been improving steadily, so on that aspect I am on track. It may not sound like a big deal, but it is for me. I've wanted to do this all my life, but I haven't had the means financially so I've been working hard to try to change that.
The Daruma is made exactly for goals, and when you create a goal in mind you paint one pupil in. When you finish that goal you paint the final pupil in. After that you burn the Daruma and pray for thanks for aiding in your journey. Thanks for the contest!
