Magnetic Car mounts can interfere with your phones magnetometer which will mess with the phones compass, which can mess with your GPS experience. an overly strong one can even magnetize parts of your phone, permanently damaging it's ability to use the compass.
I found this one, used it for months on my N8, and now have been using it with my N10+ with no issue. Depending on the design of your air vents though, it might be quite difficult to take it off to move it. It is on mine, though doable.
