You don't need D3 if you supplement regularly. The only studies that have shown superiority of D3 is for people who are deficient and need to take monthly megadoses. I take these:

Vitamin D supplements are readily absorbed. Greger recommends 2000 IU for everyone. I’ve been taking it for years and my levels are perfect.
