You can get a tag for $10 here, and a charger for $20 here. I'd definitely recommend it, it's super awesome and convenient even if you do have a working charge port.
You can also buy batteries for the S3 which support wireless charging- you can then just place the phone on a charging pad and moved data wirelessly.
