We do actually already have a bed for when baby is ready - we were luckily gifted a full-size bed and beautiful headboard when we bought out house (a friend who was moving gave it to us free), so we're not really worried about the conversion aspect. Even if we were, the mini-crib I'm thinking about converts to both a toddler bed and a twin bed frame, so we could go from crib to toddler, then transition to the big girl fullsize bed.
